CHECK INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY

CHECK VEHICLE TYPE

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY - PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH)

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY - BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY)

WIRING DIAGRAM

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the R11 inner rear view mirror assembly connector.
   

2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
   

   Standard Voltage:

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   R11-3 (REV) - Body ground	Ignition switch ON, shift lever in R	11 to 14 V
   R11-3 (REV) - Body ground	Ignition switch ON, shift lever in not R	Below 1 V

1. Check the vehicle type.
   

   Result

1. Disconnect the R11 inner rear view mirror assembly connector.
   

2. Disconnect the B28 park/neutral position switch connector.
   

3. Measure the resistance the according to the value(s) in the table below.
   

   Standard Resistance:

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   R11-3 (REV) - B28-2 (RL)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   R11-3 (REV) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

1. Disconnect the R11 inner rear view mirror assembly connector.
   

2. Disconnect the B25 back-up light switch assembly connector.
   

3. Measure the resistance the according to the value(s) in the table below.
   
   

   Standard Resistance:

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   R11-3 (REV) - B25-1	Always	Below 1 Ω
   R11-3 (REV) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
