Back-Up Light Switch -- Installation |
| 1. INSTALL BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY |
Install the back-up light switch and gasket to the manual transaxle case.
- Torque:
- 40 N*m{410 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf}
Connect the back-up light switch connector.

| 2. INSTALL BATTERY CARRIER |
 |
Install the battery carrier bracket with the nut and 2 bolts.
- Torque:
- 20 N*m{204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf}
Install the battery bracket reinforcement with the 2 bolts.
- Torque:
- 20 N*m{204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf}

Install the No. 1 battery carrier with the 4 bolts.
- Torque:
- 20 N*m{204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf}
 |
Connect the 2 clamps of the engine wire.
| 3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY |
Connect the air cleaner case to the No. 1 air cleaner inlet.
Install the air cleaner case with the 3 bolts.
- Torque:
- 5.0 N*m{51 kgf*cm, 44 ft.*lbf}
 |
Install the air cleaner filter element.
Connect the 2 clamps of the engine wire.
 |
Connect the mass air flow meter connector.
| 4. INSTALL PURGE VSV |
 |
Install the purge VSV to the air cleaner hose.
Connect the 2 purge line hoses to the purge VSV.
Connect the wire harness clamp.
Connect the purge VSV connector.
| 5. INSTALL BATTERY TRAY |
| 6. INSTALL BATTERY |
Install the battery.
Install the battery clamp and tighten the bolt and nut.
- Torque:
- 5.0 N*m{51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf}
