Yaw Rate And Deceleration Sensor -- Installation |
| 1. INSTALL YAW RATE SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ VSC) |
Install the yaw rate sensor with the 2 bolts.
- Torque:
- 15 N*m{148 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf}
- NOTICE:
- Do not damage the yaw rate sensor.
- Make sure that the yaw rate sensor is installed securely.

Connect the yaw rate sensor connector.
| 2. INSTALL DECELERATION SENSOR (w/o VSC) |
Install the deceleration sensor with the 2 bolts.
- Torque:
- 15 N*m{148 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf}
- NOTICE:
- Do not damage the deceleration sensor.
- Make sure that the deceleration sensor is installed securely.

Connect the deceleration sensor connector.
| 3. INSTALL YAW RATE SENSOR BRACKET |
Install the bracket with the bolt.
- Torque:
- 15 N*m{148 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf}
| 4. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH |
Attach the 10 claws to install the scuff plate.

| 5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH |
for Manual Seat:
Install the front seat LH (RAV4_ACA30 RM000000Z8T038X.html).
for Power Seat:
Install the front seat LH (RAV4_ACA30 RM000000VBE01XX.html).
| 6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
| 7. PERFORM ZERO POINT CALIBRATION OF YAW RATE AND DECELERATION SENSOR (w/ VSC) |
Perform the yaw rate and deceleration sensor zero point calibration (RAV4_ACA30 RM000001K1O00SX.html).
| 8. INSPECT YAW RATE SENSOR SIGNAL (w/ VSC) |
Inspect the yaw rate sensor signal (RAV4_ACA30 RM0000022CZ007X.html).
| 9. INSPECT DECELERATION SENSOR SIGNAL (w/o VSC) |
Inspect the deceleration sensor signal (RAV4_ACA30 RM000000ONN01NX.html).
