  1. Enter the "MICROPHONE & VOICE RECOGNITION CHECK" mode (RAV4_ACA30 RM000003A3N00LX.html).

  1. When voice is input into the microphone, check that the microphone input level meter changes according to the input voice.

  1. Push the recording switch and perform voice recording.

    HINT:
    Voice can be recorded for up to 5 seconds.
  1. Check that the recording indicator remains on while recording and that the recorded voice is played normally without noise or distortion.

    OK:
    All check results are normal.

  1. Check if the "Send Voice Level" is set to "0".

    The send voice level has 11 levels (-5 to +5) with increments of 3 db.
  1. Check if the volume is set to the minimum or maximum level.

    HINT:
    When the volume is set to the minimum or maximum level, the sound may be distorted.
    OK:
    Voice level setting is normal.
