Amplifier Antenna Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY (for Short Body)

  3. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY (for Long Body)

  4. REMOVE AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

Amplifier Antenna -- Removal



1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
w/ Navigation System (for HDD):
After the ignition switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately a minute to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the ignition switch off, wait a minute or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.


2. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY (for Short Body)

  1. Remove the roof headlining (RAV4_ACA30 RM000001XUT002X.html).



3. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY (for Long Body)

  1. Remove the roof headlining (RAV4_ACA30 RM000001XUZ002X.html).



4. REMOVE AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the connectors.

  1. Detach the 3 clamps.



  1. Remove the nut.

  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the amplifier antenna.
