Curtain Shield Airbag Assembly -- Installation |
- CAUTION:

| 1. INSTALL ROOF SIDE RAIL BRACKET LH |

- Torque:
- 14 N*m{143 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf}
| 2. INSTALL CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH |
Short body:
Install the curtain shield airbag with the 9 bolts.
Long body:
Install the curtain shield airbag with the 10 bolts.- Torque:
- 14 N*m{143 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf}
- NOTICE:
- Do not twist the curtain shield airbag when installing it.
Connect the connector.
- NOTICE:
- When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

Short body:
Install the roof headlining (RAV4_ACA30 RM000001XUR003X_01_0003.html).
Long body:
Install the roof headlining (RAV4_ACA30 RM000001XUX003X_01_0001.html).
| 4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
| 5. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT |
Check the SRS warning light (RAV4_ACA30 RM000000XFA03UX.html).
