Fuel Tank Reassembly

Install the sender gauge with the 5 screws.

Torque:

1.5 N*m{15 kgf*cm, 13 in.*lbf}

Install 7 new fuel tank cushions onto the fuel tank as shown in the illustration.

Attach the 2 clamps to install the air inlet line tube to the fuel tank.

Install the 4 tube clamps to the fuel tank.

Install the tube to the fuel tube clamps.

Install the tube to the fuel tube clamps.

Install a new gasket onto the fuel suction with pump.

Connect the fuel hose with the paint mark facing towards the top of the vehicle, and then secure the clip.

Install the fuel suction with pump into the fuel tank.

NOTICE:

Do not damage the fuel suction with pump.

Install the set plate with the 8 bolts.

Torque:

4.0 N*m{41 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf}

Install the fuel tube with the joint clip.

NOTICE:

1. Check that there are no scratches or foreign objects on the connecting parts.
   
2. Check that the fuel tube joint is inserted securely.
   
3. Check that the fuel tube joint clip is on the collar of the fuel tube joint.
   
4. After installing the tube joint clip, check that the fuel tube joint cannot be pulled off.
   
5. Be careful not to damage the clip. If the clip is damaged, replace it.
   

Connect the purge line hose, air inlet line hose to the fuel suction plate.

Connect the fuel emission hose to the fuel suction plate.

HINT:

Firmly push the tube connector until a "click" sound is heard.

NOTICE:

1. Before connecting the hose, check if there is any damage or foreign matter in the hose or connector.
   
2. Check that the connector is connected by pulling on it.
