Front Door Speaker Installation

  1. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

  2. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

  3. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  4. INSTALL FRONT ARMREST BASE UPPER PANEL LH

  5. INSTALL FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH LH

  6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Front Door Speaker -- Installation


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH sides.
  2. The procedure listed below are for the LH side.


1. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the speaker with the 2 screws.

  1. Connect the connector.



2. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

  1. Using an air riveter or hand riveter, install the speaker with 3 new rivets.

    NOTICE:

      Do not pry the rivet with the riveter, as this will cause damage to the riveter and mandrel.

      Confirm that the rivets are seated properly against the speaker.
    3. Do not tilt the riveter when installing the rivet to the speaker.
    4. Do not leave any space between the rivet head and speaker.

      Do not leave any space between the speaker and door. Firmly hold together the 2 items while installing the rivet.

  1. Connect the connector.



3. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Attach the 4 claws to install the speaker door grille.

  1. Attach the 7 claws to install the weatherstrip inner.

  1. Attach the 2 claws to install the inside handle.

  1. Attach the 10 clips to install the trim board.

  1. Install the 3 screws.

  1. Attach the 3 claws to install the door inside handle bezel plug.

  1. Attach the 12 claws to install the door assist grip.



4. INSTALL FRONT ARMREST BASE UPPER PANEL LH

  1. for Driver Side:
    Install the power window regulator master switch to the panel with the 3 screws.

  1. for Passenger Side:
    Attach the 2 claws and install the power window regulator switch to the panel.

  1. Connect the switch connectors.

  1. Attach the clip and 5 claws to install the panel (with the switch).



5. INSTALL FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH LH

  1. Attach the clip and 3 claws to install the garnish.



6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
