Clutch Pedal (For Rhd) Removal

Transmission. Toyota Rav4. Aca30, 33, 38 Gsa33 Zsa30, 35
Clutch. Toyota Rav4. Aca30, 33, 38 Gsa33 Zsa30, 35

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (w/ Knee Airbag)

  3. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (w/o Knee Airbag)

  4. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL

  5. DISCONNECT CLUTCH START SWITCH CONNECTOR (w/ Entry and Start System)

  6. DISCONNECT CLUTCH SWITCH CONNECTOR (w/ Cruise Control System)

  7. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL ASSEMBLY

Clutch Pedal (For Rhd) -- Removal



1. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Detach the 3 claws and remove the cover.



2. REMOVE DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (w/ Knee Airbag)

  1. Remove the 4 bolts and driver side knee airbag.

  1. Disconnect the connector.

    NOTICE:
    When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.


3. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (w/o Knee Airbag)

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 8 claws and remove the lower instrument panel finish panel.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


4. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL

  1. Remove the upper instrument panel (RAV4_ACA30 RM000001RHD00JX.html).



5. DISCONNECT CLUTCH START SWITCH CONNECTOR (w/ Entry and Start System)

  1. Disconnect the clutch start switch connector.

  1. Remove the nut and clutch start switch from the clutch pedal support.



6. DISCONNECT CLUTCH SWITCH CONNECTOR (w/ Cruise Control System)

  1. Disconnect the clutch switch connector.

  1. Remove the nut and clutch switch from the clutch pedal support.



7. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and clutch pedal.
