Clutch Pedal (For Lhd) Installation

Clutch. Toyota Rav4. Aca30, 33, 38 Gsa33 Zsa30, 35

  1. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL ASSEMBLY

  2. INSTALL PUSH ROD CLEVIS PIN

  3. CONNECT CLUTCH START SWITCH CONNECTOR (w/ Entry and Start System)

  4. CONNECT CLUTCH SWITCH CONNECTOR (w/ Cruise Control System)

  5. INSTALL UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL

  6. INSTALL DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (w/ Knee Airbag)

  7. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  8. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (w/o Knee Airbag)

  9. CHECK FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR

Clutch Pedal (For Lhd) -- Installation



1. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the clutch pedal.

  1. Install the bolt and 2 nuts.

    Torque:
    for nut:
    13 N*m{130 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf}
    for bolt:
    24 N*m{245 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf}


2. INSTALL PUSH ROD CLEVIS PIN

  1. Install the pin and a new clip.

    HINT:
    Install the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis with pin from the right side of the vehicle.


3. CONNECT CLUTCH START SWITCH CONNECTOR (w/ Entry and Start System)

  1. Install the clutch start switch with the nut.

    Torque:
    16 N*m{160 kgf*cm, 12 ft.*lbf}

  1. Connect the clutch start switch connector.



4. CONNECT CLUTCH SWITCH CONNECTOR (w/ Cruise Control System)

  1. Install the clutch switch with the nut.

    Torque:
    16 N*m{160 kgf*cm, 12 ft.*lbf}

  1. Connect the clutch switch connector.



5. INSTALL UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL

  1. Install the upper instrument panel (RAV4_ACA30 RM000001RHA00KX.html).



6. INSTALL DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (w/ Knee Airbag)

  1. Connect the connector.

    NOTICE:
    When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

  1. Install the driver side knee airbag with the 4 bolts.

    Torque:
    10 N*m{101 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf}


7. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    Toyota Rav4. Aca30, 33, 38 Gsa33 Zsa30, 35

  1. Attach the 3 claws to install the cover.

  1. Install the 2 screws.



8. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (w/o Knee Airbag)

  1. Attach the 8 claws to install the lower instrument panel finish panel.

  1. Install the 2 screws.



9. CHECK FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR

  1. Check the fluid level in the reservoir (RAV4_ACA30 RM000001HJ200GX.html).
