DTC B2276 ACCR Signal Circuit Malfunction


DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when a malfunction is detected in the ACCR signal output by the main body ECU.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK WHETHER DTC OUTPUT RECURS

  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the intelligent tester on.

  1. Enter the following menus: Body / Main Body / DTC.

  1. Clear the DTCs.

  1. Check whether DTC B2276 recurs 50 seconds or more after the engine switch is turned on (IG).

2.CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (ACCR VOLTAGE)

  1. Disconnect the E20 main body ECU connector.

  1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Voltage:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    E20-11 (ACCR) - Body ground
    		When all condition are met:
    1. Clutch pedal (for M/T) or brake pedal (except M/T) depressed
    2. Shift lever in P or N (except M/T)
    3. Engine switch tuned from off to on (IG)
    		0.1 to 0.8 V* → ((Voltage at terminal AM21 or AM22) minus 2.0 V) or higher
    *: Voltage is output only when the engine is cranking.

3.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - ECM)


  1. Disconnect the E20 main body ECU connector.

  1. Disconnect the A12 ECM connector.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    E20-11 (ACCR) - A12-42 (ACCR)
    		Always
    		Below 1 Ω
    E20-11 (ACCR) or A12-42 (ACCR) - Body ground
    		Always
    		10 kΩ or higher


NG
REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK


4.CHECK MAIN BODY ECU

  1. Temporarily replace the main body ECU (instrument panel junction block) with a new or normally functioning one.

  1. Check whether DTC B2276 recurs by repeating the "CHECK WHETHER DTC OUTPUT RECURS" procedures above.

    OK:
    No DTC is output.
