  1. INSTALL POWER STEERING ECU

  2. INSTALL UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL

  3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

1. INSTALL POWER STEERING ECU

  1. Check that the connector lever is at the fully unlocked position before installation.

    NOTICE:
    If the lever has been lifted out of the fully unlocked position, it may cause an imperfect connection.

  1. Install the ECU with the 3 nuts.

    Torque:
    8.5 N*m{87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf}

  1. Connect the 4 connectors.

  1. Lock the connector lever.

  1. Lightly pull on the connector and check that the connector will not be disconnected.



2. INSTALL UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL

  1. Install the upper instrument panel (RAV4_ACA30 RM000001RHA00KX_01_0001.html).



3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
