INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
When replacing the brake actuator assembly, perform the zero point calibration (RAV4_ACA30 RM000001K1O00SX.html).
1.CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

  1. Check if a CAN communication system DTC is output (RAV4_ACA30 RM000001W16002X.html).

2.PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (SLIP INDICATOR LIGHT)

  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  1. Start the engine.

  1. Select the Active Test mode on the intelligent tester (RAV4_ACA30 RM000000ONK01EX.html).

    ABS/VSC/TRC:
    Tester Display
    		Test Part
    		Control Range
    		Diagnostic Note
    Slip Indicator Light
    		Slip indicator light
    		Indicator light ON / OFF
    		Observe the combination meter.

    OK:
    The slip indicator light turns ON and OFF.

3.INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

  1. Inspect the combination meter (RAV4_ACA30 RM0000020M0001X.html).
