REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD WITH NO. 1 CUSHION SHIELD INNER
REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH (w/ Seat Position Memory System)
REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH (w/o Seat Position Memory System)
Occupant Detection Sensor (For Power Seat) -- Removal |
| 1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY |
| 2. REMOVE FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER |
Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the rearmost position.
Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the seat track bracket cover outer front LH.
- HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

| 3. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER |
| 4. REMOVE REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER |
Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the position farthest forward.
Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the front seat track cover rear outer LH.
- HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

| 5. REMOVE REAR INNER SEAT TRACK COVER |
| 6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY |
Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the rearmost position.
Remove the 2 bolts on the front seat track bracket.
 |
Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the position farthest forward.
Remove the 2 bolts on the rear seat track bracket.
 |
Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- CAUTION:
- Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent the airbag and seat belt pretensioner from deploying (Click here).
Disconnect the connectors under the seat. Then remove the seat.
| 7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY |
Disconnect the connector and detach the 4 clamps.
Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly.

| 8. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB |
Using a screwdriver, detach the knob.
- HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
 |
| 9. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB |
Using a screwdriver, detach the knob.
- HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
 |
| 10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD WITH NO. 1 CUSHION SHIELD INNER |
Release the 2 rubber bands of the front seatback board from the front seat frame.
 |
Remove the 6 screws.
 |
Disengage the claw and separate the front seat cushion shield assembly.
Disconnect the connector from the front power seat lumbar switch.
| 11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD |

Remove the screw.
Using a screwdriver, detach the claw.
- HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
Using a clip remover, detach the clip and remove the cushion shield.
| 12. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH (w/ Seat Position Memory System) |
Remove the 3 screws.
 |
Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the front power seat switch.
| 13. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH (w/o Seat Position Memory System) |
Remove the 3 screws.
Disconnect the connector and remove the front power seat switch.
| 14. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD |
Disconnect the connectors and detach the clamps.
 |
Disengage the clamp and separate the occupant detection sensor connector.
 |
Remove the 2 clips.
 |
Disengage the hooks and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.
| 15. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD |
Remove the hog rings and separate type front seat cushion pad.
 |
