  1. REMOVE RELEASE CYLINDER PISTON

  2. REMOVE RELEASE CYLINDER BLEEDER PLUG

Clutch Release Cylinder (For 2Ad-Fhv) -- Disassembly



1. REMOVE RELEASE CYLINDER PISTON

  1. Remove the boot from the cylinder body.

  1. Remove the push rod from the cylinder body.



    Lexus Is250, Is220D. Gse20 Ale20

  1. Using compressed air, remove the piston together with the spring from the cylinder.

    NOTICE:
    1. Cover the cylinder with a shop rag or a piece of cloth to prevent fluid from flying out.
    2. Be careful not to damage the inside of the cylinder body.


2. REMOVE RELEASE CYLINDER BLEEDER PLUG

  1. Remove the bleeder plug cap from the bleeder plug.

  1. Remove the release cylinder bleeder plug from the cylinder body.
