  1. SEPARATE CLUTCH ACCUMULATOR ASSEMBLY

  2. DISCONNECT CLUTCH LINE

  3. REMOVE CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

Clutch Release Cylinder (For 2Ad-Fhv) -- Removal



1. SEPARATE CLUTCH ACCUMULATOR ASSEMBLY


    Lexus Is250, Is220D. Gse20 Ale20

  1. Remove the 3 bolts and separate the clutch accumulator assembly.

    NOTICE:
    Use a wire or an equivalent tool keep the clutch accumulator from hanging down by the clutch line.


2. DISCONNECT CLUTCH LINE


    Lexus Is250, Is220D. Gse20 Ale20

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and separate the clutch line.

  1. Using SST, disconnect the clutch line.

    SST

    HINT:
    Use a container to catch the fluid.


3. REMOVE CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and clutch release cylinder.
