Tire Pressure Warning System -- Initialization |
INITIALIZATION |
- NOTICE:
- Initialization is necessary after replacing either the ECU, tires with different tire pressure or tire pressure monitor valve sub-assembly, after rotating the tires, or when a new vehicle is delivered.
Set the tire air pressure for 4 wheels, to the specified value.

Check that the tire pressure warning light blinks 3 times (1 second ON, 1 second OFF). If the engine is on, "PRESSURE INITIAL" will be displayed on the multi-information display.
- HINT:
- Do not turn the engine switch off during initialization (The initialization process takes about 20 minutes).
- Initialization will be completed if signals are received from 4 the wheels. Initialization will be canceled if the engine switch is turned off during initialization.
Confirm that initialization is completed using the intelligent tester.
Check that the pressure for each tire is displayed in INIT THRESHOLD 1 to 4.
Initialization is completed.
