DESCRIPTION
This DTC is output when one of the following occurs: 1) the initial learning operation is not completed; 2) after the initial learning operation is completed, power is cut due to the battery cable being disconnected and reconnected, etc.; or 3) a data blockage at the steering sensor or variable gear ratio steering system occurs.- HINT:
- Steering sensor data is received through the CAN line. When data blockage occurs, it is displayed on the multi-information display (Click here).

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1.CHECK MULTI-INFORMATION DISPLAY |
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Turn the clearance sonar main switch ON.
Check that the steering guide mark is blinking or illuminated on the multi-information display.
- HINT:
- The guide mark blinks when there is a malfunction in the steering sensor signal, and illuminates when the steering angle mid-point learning operation is being performed.

2.SET STEERING ANGLE MID-POINT |
Set the steering angle mid-point (Click here).
- HINT:
- Use method 1, 2 or 3 to set the steering angle mid-point.
Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
Using the tester, check for DTCs (Click here).
