Fuel Pump Resistor Removal

Engine. Lexus Gs430, Gs300. Uzs190 Grs190
3Gr-Fe Fuel. Lexus Gs430, Gs300. Uzs190 Grs190

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

  3. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH

  4. REMOVE FUEL PUMP RESISTOR

Fuel Pump Resistor -- Removal



1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.


2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

  1. Remove the 7 clips and duct seal.



3. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH


    Lexus Gs430, Gs300. Uzs190 Grs190.3Gr-Fe Fuel.Fuel System.Fuel Pump Resistor Removal

  1. Loosen the nut and remove the 2 clips and side cover.



4. REMOVE FUEL PUMP RESISTOR

  1. Disconnect the connector and clamp from the fuel pump resistor.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and fuel pump resistor, and disconnect the ground wire.
