1. INSPECT VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY

  1. Measure the VSV resistance.

    Standard resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Specified Condition
    1 - 2
    		33 to 39 Ω at 20°C (68°F)
    1 - Body ground
    2 - Body ground
    		1 MΩ or higher
    If the result is not as specified, replace the VSV assembly.

  1. Check the VSV operation.

    1. Check that air flows from port E to the filter.
      If the result is not as specified, replace the VSV assembly.



      2. Lexus Gs430, Gs300. Uzs190 Grs190.3Uz-Fe Intake.Intake System.Vacuum Switching Valve (For Acis) On-Vehicle Inspection

    2. Apply battery voltage across the terminals.

    3. Check that air flows from port E to F.
      If the result is not as specified, replace the VSV assembly.
