BUZZER ON / OFF SETTING

  1. The combination meter's buzzer operation can be customized. There is an ON and OFF setting, which sets or disables the driver's and / or front passenger's seat belt buzzer.

    NOTICE:
    These buzzers should be set to ON as a safety precaution. If it is necessary to customize the buzzers, perform the procedures below.

    PROCEDURE:
    Step 1
    		Turn engine switch on (IG).
    Step 2
    		Press ODO/TRIP switch until odometer displays "ODO".
    Step 3
    		Turn engine switch OFF.
    Step 4
    		Turn engine switch on (IG) while depressing brake pedal.
    Step 5
    		Press ODO/TRIP switch, immediately (within 6 seconds) and hold it down for 10 seconds or more.
    Step 6
    		When driver seatbelt buckle switch is on, driver seat and front passenger seat buzzer are canceled.
    When the front passenger seatbelt buckle switch is on, only front passenger seat buzzer is canceled.
    When SEAT BELT BUZZER ON is displayed, buzzer is on. When SEAT BELT BUZZER OFF is displayed, the buzzer is off.
    Step 7
    		Turn engine switch OFF.
    Step 8
    		Turn engine switch on (IG) while depressing brake pedal.
    Step 9
    		Check that no buzzer sound.
    HINT:
    The buzzer cancel mode ends when either of the following is performed: 1) the ODO/TRIP switch is not operated for 10 seconds, or 2) the engine switch is turned off.
