INSPECTION PROCEDURE

CHECK RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

CHECK WIRE HARNESS (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - GATEWAY ECU)

AUDIO AND VISUAL SYSTEM - AVC-LAN Circuit between Radio Receiver and Gateway ECU

DESCRIPTION

The radio receiver assembly uses the AVC-LAN to control communication between all of its components. Each component is connected to the AVC-LAN and communicates by sending and receiving switch signals. When the AVC-LAN has a +B short or a GND short, communication is cut and the radio receiver assembly will not function normally.
In the AVC-LAN, the radio receiver assembly becomes the communication master, and the radio receiver assembly has enough resistance necessary for transmitting the communication.
