Front Center Seat Outer Belt (For Bench Seat Type) Removal


  1. REMOVE FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER RH

  2. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER RH

  3. REMOVE SEAT TRACK COVER RH

  4. REMOVE INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER RH

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LAP OUTER BELT SUB-ASSEMBLY

Front Center Seat Outer Belt (For Bench Seat Type) -- Removal


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
  2. The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


1. REMOVE FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER RH

  1. Operate the seat track adjusting handle and move the front seat assembly RH to the rearmost position.

  1. Using moulding remover A, detach the 2 claws and remove the front outer seat track bracket cover RH.



2. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER RH

  1. Using moulding remover A, detach the 2 claws and remove the front inner seat track bracket cover RH.



3. REMOVE SEAT TRACK COVER RH

  1. Operate the seat track adjusting handle and move the front seat assembly RH to the foremost position.

  1. Using moulding remover A, detach the 2 claws and remove the seat track cover RH.



4. REMOVE INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER RH

  1. Using moulding remover A, detach the 2 claws and remove the inner seat track bracket cover RH.



5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LAP OUTER BELT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155

  1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the front seat lap outer belt sub-assembly from the floor.



  1. Remove the front seat assembly RH.

    HINT:
    In order to perform work under the seat, it is not necessary to remove the seat from the cabin. Simply tilt the seat backward.

    1. Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Operate the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the rearmost position.

    3. Remove the 2 bolts.

    4. Disconnect the connector and detach the wire harness clamp from under the seat.

    5. Tilt the front seat assembly RH backward while being careful not to damage the vehicle interior or wire harnesses with the seat frame.

  1. Pass the front seat lap outer belt sub-assembly through the band of the front seat inner belt assembly RH and remove it by pulling it up through the seat.
