Outer Rear View Mirror Actuator -- Removal


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
  2. The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


1. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR GLASS

  1. Push the upper part of the mirror surface and tilt it.

  1. Using a moulding remover, detach the 4 claws and separate the outer rear view mirror glass from the mirror body.

    HINT:
    Apply protective tape to the outer rear view mirror to prevent it from being damaged.

  1. Disconnect the connectors and remove the mirror glass.



2. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Remove the 3 screws.

  1. Disconnect the 2 clamps and open the cover.

  1. Disconnect the connector and remove the outer mirror actuator assembly LH.
