DESCRIPTION

The blind spot monitor sensor receives steering angle signals from the spiral cable sub-assembly via CAN communication.

  1. Spiral cable sub-assembly
  2. Blind spot monitor sensor LH

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
When checking for DTCs, make sure that the blind spot monitor main switch assembly (multi-function switch) is on.
1.CHECK DTC

  1. Clear the DTCs (LandCruiser RM000004RS201SX.html).

  1. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

    OK:
    No DTCs are output.

Go to step 2

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK (LandCruiser RM000003YMJ00XX.html)

2.REPLACE SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Replace the spiral cable sub-assembly with a new or normally functioning one (LandCruiser RM000000SS909QX.html).

3.CHECK DTC

  1. Clear the DTCs (LandCruiser RM000004RS201SX.html).

  1. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.
