DESCRIPTION

The blind spot monitor sensor receives vehicle speed signals from the skid control ECU (master cylinder solenoid) via CAN communication.

A fail flag is transmitted from the skid control ECU (master cylinder solenoid).
  1. Vehicle stability control system
  2. Blind spot monitor sensor LH
  3. Blind spot monitor sensor RH

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
When checking for DTCs, make sure that the blind spot monitor main switch assembly (multi-function switch) is on.
1.CHECK DTC (VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM)

  1. Check for vehicle stability control system DTCs (LandCruiser RM0000046KV016X.html).

    OK:
    Vehicle stability control system DTCs are not output.

GO TO VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM (LandCruiser RM000001DWP03DX.html)
OK


2.CHECK DTC

  1. Clear the DTCs (LandCruiser RM000004RS201SX.html).

  1. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again (LandCruiser RM000004RS201SX.html).
