Front Seat Cushion Heater (For Walk In Seat Type) -- Removal |
- CAUTION:
- Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
- The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.
- Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
- The procedure listed below is for the RH side.
| 1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY |
Remove the front seat assembly (LandCruiser RM0000046B800AX.html).
| 2. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH |

Raise the reclining adjuster release handle to reveal the claw. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the handle.
- HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

| 3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH |

Remove the screw.
Using a moulding remover, detach the 5 claws and 2 clips.
Detach the cable clamp and remove the cushion shield.
| 4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD RH |
 |
Using a moulding remover, detach the 5 claws and remove the cushion shield.
| 5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH |
for Manual Seat, Power Seat 4 Way Seat Type:
Disconnect the 2 connectors and detach the 3 clamps.
for Power Seat 8 Way Seat Type:
Disconnect the 2 connectors and detach the 6 clamps.
Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly RH.
Remove the front seat belt anchor plate.
| 6. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD |
Remove the rubber band from the seat cushion spring.

Disconnect the seat heater connector and detach the wire harness clamp.
 |
w/ Front Seat Side Airbag:
Detach the fastening tape and open the cover.

Using a moulding remover, remove the clip.
 |
Detach the hook.
 |
Disconnect the seat heater connector and detach the 3 wire harness clamps.
 |
Detach the hooks.
Detach the claw and disconnect the connector.
 |
Remove the seat cushion cover with pad.
| 7. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER |

Remove the hog rings and seat cushion cover from the seat cushion pad.
| 8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY RH |
 |
Cut off the tack pins and remove the front seat cushion heater from the front seat cushion cover.
