Blind Spot Monitor Sensor Installation


  1. INSTALL BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR LH

  2. INSTALL BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR RH

  3. INSTALL REAR BUMPER COVER

  4. INSTALL REAR QUARTER PANEL MUDGUARD LH

  5. INSTALL REAR QUARTER PANEL MUDGUARD RH

  6. INSTALL NO. 1 REAR BUMPER PLATE

  7. INSTALL BACK DOOR CHECK

  8. INSTALL REAR BUMPER BAR PLATE

  9. INSTALL JACK BOX HOLE COVER

  10. INSTALL PINTLE HOOK ASSEMBLY (w/ Pintle Hook)

Blind Spot Monitor Sensor -- Installation


NOTICE:
  1. Avoid any impact to the blind spot monitor sensor.
  2. Do not drop the blind spot monitor sensor. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
HINT:
A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (LandCruiser RM00000118W0G8X.html).


1. INSTALL BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR LH

  1. Connect the connector.

  1. Install the blind spot monitor sensor LH with the 3 nuts.

    Torque:
    10 N*m{102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf}


2. INSTALL BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR RH

  1. Connect the connector.

  1. Install the blind spot monitor sensor RH with the 3 nuts.

    Torque:
    10 N*m{102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf}


3. INSTALL REAR BUMPER COVER

  1. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Fog Light:
    Connect the 4 connectors.

  1. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/o Fog Light:
    Connect the 2 connectors.

  1. w/o TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Fog Light:
    Connect the 2 connectors.

  1. Attach the 14 claws to install the rear bumper cover.

  1. Install the 6 bolts and 2 clips.

    Torque:
    8.0 N*m{82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf}


4. INSTALL REAR QUARTER PANEL MUDGUARD LH

  1. Install the rear quarter panel mudguard with the 5 screws and 2 clips.



5. INSTALL REAR QUARTER PANEL MUDGUARD RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.


6. INSTALL NO. 1 REAR BUMPER PLATE

  1. Attach the 10 claws and 10 guides to install the No. 1 rear bumper plate.



7. INSTALL BACK DOOR CHECK


  1. Bumper side:



      Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155.Park Assist Monitoring.Toyota Parking Assist-Sensor System (W/ Multi-Display).Blind Spot Monitor Sensor Installation

    1. Install the back door check with back door lower damper stay bracket with the 2 bolts labeled A.

      Torque:
      30 N*m{306 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf}

    2. Install the bolt labeled B.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m{82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf}

    3. Attach the wire harness.



  1. Back door side:



      Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155

    1. Attach the clip to install the back door check with back door lower damper stay bracket.

    2. Install the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      30 N*m{306 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf}


8. INSTALL REAR BUMPER BAR PLATE

  1. Attach the 14 claws to install the rear bumper bar plate.



9. INSTALL JACK BOX HOLE COVER

  1. Attach the 2 claws to install the jack box hole cover.



10. INSTALL PINTLE HOOK ASSEMBLY (w/ Pintle Hook)

  1. Install the pintle hook with the 4 bolts and 4 nuts.

    Torque:
    81 N*m{826 kgf*cm, 60 ft.*lbf}

  1. For vehicles with a spare tire installed to the underbody, install the spare tire.
