INSTALL DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY (w/ Navigation System)
INSTALL CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/o Navigation System)
INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)
INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)
Clearance Warning Buzzer -- Installation |
| 1. INSTALL NO. 1 CLEARANCE WARNING BUZZER |
Attach the clamp to install the No. 1 clearance warning buzzer.
Connect the connector.
| 2. INSTALL DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY (w/ Navigation System) |
Connect each connector.
Insert the navigation receiver assembly and attach the 7 clips on the backside of the navigation receiver assembly.
- NOTICE:
- When inserting the receiver, do not press the knobs on it.
 |
Install the navigation receiver assembly with the 4 bolts.
- Torque:
- 12 N*m{122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf}
| 3. INSTALL RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Radio Receiver) |
Connect each connector.
Insert the radio receiver assembly to attach the 2 guides on its backside.
- NOTICE:
- When inserting the receiver, do not press the knobs on it.

Install the radio receiver assembly with the 4 bolts.
- Torque:
- 13 N*m{133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf}
| 4. INSTALL RADIO TUNER OPENING COVER (w/o Audio) |
Install the radio tuner opening cover with the 4 bolts.
| 5. INSTALL CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/o Navigation System) |
Connect each connector.
Attach the 10 clips to install the center instrument cluster finish panel.
| 6. INSTALL INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY |
Connect the connector.
Attach the 4 clips to install the integration control and panel assembly.
| 7. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY |
Check that the ignition switch is off.
Check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- CAUTION:
- Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
Connect the connector.
- NOTICE:
- When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

Install the airbag assembly with the 4 bolts.
- Torque:
- 10 N*m{102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf}
| 8. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY |
Connect each connector and each cable.
w/o Knee Airbag:
Attach the 7 clips to install the lower instrument panel finish panel.
w/ Knee Airbag:
Attach the 14 clips to install the lower instrument panel finish panel.
Install the 2 bolts <C>.
Attach the 2 claws to close the cover.
| 9. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY |
Connect each connector.
Attach the 4 clips to install the instrument panel finish panel.
| 10. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD) |
for LHD:
Attach the 2 clips and 2 guides to install the No. 1 instrument panel under cover.
Install the screw.
for RHD:
Attach the 3 clips and 2 guides to install the No. 1 instrument panel under cover.
Install the screw.
| 11. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ORNAMENT (for LHD) |
Attach the 3 clips to install the instrument cluster finish panel ornament.
| 12. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH (for LHD) |
Attach the 5 clips, claw and 3 guides to install the instrument side panel.
| 13. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH (for LHD) |
Attach the clip and claw to install the cowl side trim board.
Install the clip.
| 14. INSTALL DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH (for LHD) |
Attach the 4 clips, 10 claws and 2 guides to install the door scuff plate.
| 15. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD) |
Attach the 3 clips and 2 guides to install the No. 2 instrument panel under cover.
Install the screw.

Connect the connector.
Attach the 5 clips, claw and 3 guides to install the instrument side panel.
| 17. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH (for RHD) |
Attach the clip and claw to install the cowl side trim board RH.
Install the clip.
| 18. INSTALL DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH (for RHD) |
Attach the 4 clips, 10 claws and 2 guides to install the door scuff plate assembly RH.
| 19. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PLATE GARNISH (for RHD) |
Connect each connector.
Attach the 4 clips to install the instrument panel finish plate garnish.
| 20. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
- NOTICE:
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (LandCruiser RM000003YMF011X.html).
