  4. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT CUSHION

  5. REMOVE REAR RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

  6. REMOVE SEAT TRACK OPEN LEVER PIN SUB-ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE REAR SEAT HINGE PAWL GUIDE

  8. REMOVE REAR SEAT HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  9. REMOVE REAR SEAT STAY SUB-ASSEMBLY

  10. REMOVE REAR SEAT HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

  11. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR

  12. REMOVE FOLD SEAT LEG LOCK CUSHION

  13. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION SUPPORT SPRING

  14. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  15. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT HINGE COVER LH

  16. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT HINGE COVER RH

Rear Center Seat Inner Belt Assembly (For 60/40 Split Tumble Seat Type Lh Side) -- Removal


CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.


1. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Remove the rear No. 1 seat assembly LH (LandCruiser RM0000046ZI006X.html).



2. REMOVE REAR SEAT RECLINING COVER LH

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Using a moulding remover, detach the 2 claws.

  1. Move the cover in the direction of the arrow to detach the guide and remove the cover.



3. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT RECLINING COVER RH

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Using a moulding remover, detach the 2 claws.

  1. Move the cover in the direction of the arrow to detach the guide.

  1. Detach the 2 hooks and remove the cover.



4. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT CUSHION

  1. Remove the screw and cushion.



5. REMOVE REAR RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.



6. REMOVE SEAT TRACK OPEN LEVER PIN SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Using a screwdriver, remove the stopper.

  1. Remove the pin as shown in the illustration.

    HINT:
    Use the same procedure for both pins.


7. REMOVE REAR SEAT HINGE PAWL GUIDE

  1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the pawl guide.

    HINT:
    Use the same procedure for both pawl guides.


8. REMOVE REAR SEAT HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Using a screwdriver, remove the E-ring.

  1. Remove the pin.

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 10 claws.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  1. Remove the 5 screws.

  1. Disconnect the reclining release handle from the under cover.

  1. Raise the under cover.

  1. Using a screwdriver, remove the spring of the seat stay ball-joint.

  1. Disconnect the seat stay from the seat cushion frame.

  1. Remove the seat hinge and seat stay as a unit.

    NOTICE:
    The seat stay cannot be disconnected from the seat hinge. If the stay is disconnected from the hinge, replacement of both parts is necessary.
    HINT:
    If it is necessary to replace the seat hinge, replace it together with the seat stay as the stay cannot be disconnected from the hinge.


9. REMOVE REAR SEAT STAY SUB-ASSEMBLY
HINT:
  1. As the seat stay cannot be disconnected from the seat hinge, it is removed in the previous step.
  2. If it is necessary to replace the seat stay, replace it together with the seat hinge as the stay cannot be disconnected from the hinge.


10. REMOVE REAR SEAT HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

  1. Using a screwdriver, remove the E-ring.

  1. Remove the pin and hinge.



11. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR

  1. Remove the protector from the cushion frame.

    HINT:
    Use the same procedure for both protectors.


12. REMOVE FOLD SEAT LEG LOCK CUSHION

  1. Remove the cushion from the protector.

    HINT:
    Use the same procedure for both cushions.


13. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION SUPPORT SPRING

  1. Remove the spring from the seat cushion frame.

    HINT:
    Use the same procedure for both springs.


14. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Remove the under cover.



15. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT HINGE COVER LH

  1. Detach the 3 claws and remove the cover.



16. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT HINGE COVER RH

  1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the inner belt.
