REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK STRIKER
Rear No. 1 Seat Assembly (For 60/40 Split Double-Folding Seat Type Lh Side) -- Removal |
- CAUTION:
- Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.
1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION HINGE COVER RH |
Using a moulding remover, detach the 3 claws and remove the cover.
2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION HINGE COVER LH |
Using a moulding remover, detach the 3 claws and remove the cover.
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH |
Pull the rear seat cushion band and release the lock.
Remove the 2 bolts and seat cushion.
- NOTICE:
- Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
4. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY |
Remove the headrest.
5. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER |
Press the seatback lock release button to release the lock and fold down the seatback.
Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws and remove the cover.
- HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
6. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK BOARD CARPET ASSEMBLY LH |
Using a clip remover, detach the 5 clips.
Detach the 4 claws and remove the carpet.
7. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH |
Remove the 2 bolts that secure the seatback to the floor.
Fold down the seatback, remove the bolt from the hinge, and then remove the seatback.
- NOTICE:
- Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
8. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH |
Remove the bolt and hinge.
9. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK CONTROL LEVER BASE LH |
Using a moulding remover, detach the 6 claws.
Move the cover in the direction of the arrow to detach the 2 guides and remove the lever base.
Detach the cable clamp and disconnect the cable.
10. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat) |
for Face to Face Seat Type:
Remove the rear No. 2 seat assembly (LandCruiser RM0000045DX006X.html).
11. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH |
Put protective tape around the rear door scuff plate.
Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 clips, 6 claws and 2 guides and remove the rear door scuff plate.

- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

12. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH |
Remove the rear door opening trim weatherstrip.
13. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover) |
Remove the tonneau cover.
14. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure for the other front luggage compartment trim cover.
Detach the 4 claws and remove the cap.
Remove the bolt, luggage hold belt striker and front luggage compartment trim cover.

Detach the clip and remove the No. 1 deck board.
16. REMOVE REAR FLOOR REAR MAT SUPPORT PLATE |
Detach the 5 clips and 4 claws and remove the rear floor mat rear support plate.
17. REMOVE FLOOR SIDE RAIL LH (w/ Deck Rail) |
Remove the 3 bolts and floor side rail.
18. REMOVE FLOOR SIDE RAIL RH (w/ Deck Rail) |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
19. REMOVE REAR FLOOR CARPET ASSEMBLY |
Detach the 4 claws and remove the rear floor carpet.

20. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT OUTER LAP BELT ANCHOR COVER |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure for the other rear No. 1 seat outer lap belt anchor cover.
Detach the 3 claws and remove the rear No. 1 seat outer lap belt anchor cover.
21. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure for the other No. 1 luggage compartment trim hook.
Remove the luggage compartment trim hook by turning it clockwise.
22. REMOVE NO. 1 TONNEAU COVER HOLDER CAP (w/o Tonneau Cover) |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure for the other No. 1 tonneau cover holder cap.
Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 tonneau cover holder cap.
- HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the front deck side trim cover.
- HINT:

24. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH |
w/o Rear No. 2 Seat:
Remove the bolt and disconnect the rear No. 1 seat outer belt floor anchor.
Detach the 6 claws and 2 guides and disconnect the rear seatback lock control lever base.
Remove the 4 bolts and 2 screws.
Detach the 5 clips and 8 claws.
Pass the rear seatback lock control lever base through the deck trim side panel and remove the deck trim side panel.
w/ Rear No. 2 Seat:
Remove the bolt and disconnect the rear No. 1 seat outer belt floor anchor.
Remove the bolt and disconnect the rear No. 2 seat outer belt floor anchor.
Remove the 2 bolts and 2 screws.
Detach the 4 clips and 8 claws and remove the deck trim side panel.
25. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH |
Remove the 2 bolts.
Detach the claw and remove the striker.
- NOTICE:
- Do not wipe off the grease on the sliding portion of the striker.
26. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK STRIKER |
Remove the 2 bolts and striker.
