Lumbar Switch (For Manual Seat) Removal


  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH

  3. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE LH

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

  5. REMOVE LUMBAR SWITCH ASSEMBLY

Lumbar Switch (For Manual Seat) -- Removal


CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.
HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
  2. The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the front seat assembly (LandCruiser RM00000465Y00YX.html).



2. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH

  1. Raise the reclining adjuster release handle to reveal the claw. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the handle.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

3. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE LH

  1. Remove the screw and handle.



4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH


    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155

  1. Remove the screw.

  1. Using a moulding remover, detach the 4 claws and clip, and then remove the cushion shield.

  1. for Driver Side:
    Detach the 5 wire harness clamps and disconnect the 2 connectors.



5. REMOVE LUMBAR SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 2 screws and switch.
