Fuel Sub Tank Installation

Install the fuel tank breather hose to the fuel sub tank sub-assembly, and tighten the clamp to secure the hose.

Install the fuel tank to filler pipe hose to the fuel sub tank sub-assembly, and tighten the clamp to secure the hose.

Install a new gasket and the fuel tank vent tube assembly with the 8 screws.

Torque:

4.0 N*m{41 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf}

Attach the wire harness clamp.

Set the fuel sub tank sub-assembly on a transmission jack and lift up the transmission jack.

Connect the 2 fuel tank bands with the 4 bolts.

Torque:

40 N*m{408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf}

Connect the fuel sender gauge connector.

Connect the fuel tank breather hose to the filler pipe, and tighten the clamp to secure the hose.

Connect the fuel tank to filler pipe hose to the filler pipe, and tighten the clamp to secure the hose.

Connect the fuel evaporation hose, fuel breather hose and 3 fuel hoses to the fuel tank vent tube assembly, and slide the 5 clamps to secure the hoses.

Install the No. 2 fuel tank protector with the 5 bolts.

Torque:

20 N*m{204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf}
