Power Steering Oil Pressure Switch Installation


  1. INSTALL POWER STEERING OIL PRESSURE SWITCH

  2. ADD POWER STEERING FLUID

  3. BLEED POWER STEERING FLUID

  4. CHECK FOR POWER STEERING FLUID LEAK

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

Power Steering Oil Pressure Switch -- Installation



1. INSTALL POWER STEERING OIL PRESSURE SWITCH
  1. Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring of the power steering oil pressure switch.

  1. Using a 19 mm deep socket wrench, install the power steering oil pressure switch.

    Torque:
    21 N*m{214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf}
    NOTICE:
    1. Do not allow foreign matter to contact the oil seal face of the power steering oil pressure switch (the surface that contacts the pressure feed tube).
    2. Be careful not to damage the O-ring when installing the power steering oil pressure switch.
  1. Connect the power steering oil pressure switch connector.



2. ADD POWER STEERING FLUID


3. BLEED POWER STEERING FLUID
  1. for 1GR-FE:
    Bleed the power steering fluid (LandCruiser RM0000048OM00GX.html).

  1. for 1KD-FTV:
    Bleed the power steering fluid (LandCruiser RM0000048P0007X.html).

  1. for 5L-E:
    Bleed the power steering fluid (LandCruiser RM0000048OY007X.html).

  1. for 2TR-FE:
    Bleed the power steering fluid (LandCruiser RM0000048OZ00BX.html).

  1. for 1GD-FTV:
    Bleed the power steering fluid (LandCruiser RM0000048P0008X.html).



4. CHECK FOR POWER STEERING FLUID LEAK


5. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155
  1. While pushing the No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly towards the rear, attach the 2 rear pins.

  1. Attach the 2 front clips to install the No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly.
