1. CHECK GLOW PLUG

  1. Remove the No. 1 glow plug connector (LandCruiser RM000000JIT01DX_01_0071.html).

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    Glow plug terminal - Body ground
    		20°C (68°F)
    		Approximately 0.95 Ω

    		Screw Grommet
    If the result is not as specified, replace the glow plug.
    NOTICE:
    1. Be careful not to damage the glow plug pipes, as this may cause an open circuit or shorten the life of the glow plugs.
    2. Do not allow oil or gasoline to contact the glow plug when cleaning it.
    3. Clean any oil on the terminal and Bakelite washer with a dry cloth.
    4. Do not apply more than 11 V to the glow plug, as this may cause an open circuit.

  1. Install the No. 1 glow plug connector (LandCruiser RM000000JIQ01GX_01_0070.html).
