DTC B2658 Short in Sensor with Motor Power Supply Circuit

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when a power seat motor operates (a position control sensor is being supplied with power) and the power supply voltage does not rise to the specified value.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK FOR DTC

Clear the DTCs (LandCruiser RM000003S3H00YX.html).

Check for DTCs (LandCruiser RM000003S3H00YX.html).
OK:
DTC B2658 is not output.

Go to step 2

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK (LandCruiser RM000003YMJ00XX.html)

2.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH - SLIDE MOTOR)

*2: for RHD

Disconnect the b5*1 or a5*2 switch connector.

Disconnect the b1*1 or a1*2 motor connector.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

Temporarily replace the separate type front seat cushion springs one at a time with a new or normally functioning one (LandCruiser RM000004673017X.html).

Clear the DTCs (LandCruiser RM000003S3H00YX.html).

Check for DTCs (LandCruiser RM000003S3H00YX.html).
OK:
DTC B2658 is not output.

Go to step 9
