DTC B27A2 Open in Front Passenger Side Electrical Antenna Circuit |
DESCRIPTION
The certification ECU generates a request signal and transmits the signal to the front door outside handle assembly (for front passenger side) at an interval of 250 ms. The front door outside handle assembly (for front passenger side) detects when the electrical key is brought close to the vehicle, and when a request signal is received from within 1.0 m (3.28 ft.) of the front passenger door, the signal is transmitted at an interval of 250 ms. DTC B27A2 is stored by the certification ECU when an open circuit is detected in the circuit between the certification ECU and front door outside handle assembly (for front passenger side) (CLG2 - ANT1, CG2B - ANT2).DTC Code
| DTC Detection Condition

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
- NOTICE:
- The entry and start system (for Entry Function) uses a multiplex communication system (LIN communication system) and the CAN communication system. Inspect the communication function by following How to Proceed with Troubleshooting (LandCruiser RM000000XU70G9X.html). Troubleshoot the entry and start system (for Entry Function) after confirming that the communication systems are functioning properly.
- When using the intelligent tester with the engine switch off to troubleshoot: Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3 and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5-second intervals until communication between the intelligent tester and vehicle begins.
- Before replacing the certification ECU, refer to the Service Bulletin.
1.CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION |
Turn the engine switch off.
Check that the connectors are properly connected to the certification ECU and front door outside handle assembly (for front passenger side).
- OK:
- Connectors are properly connected.

2.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE - CERTIFICATION
ECU) |
Disconnect the N1*1 or O1*2 handle connector.
- *1: for LHD
- *2: for RHD
Disconnect the G38 ECU connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Resistance:
