1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT CLEANER CONTROL RELAY


    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155.Wiper Washer.Wiper And Washer System.Relay (W/ Headlight Cleaner System) On-Vehicle Inspection

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    6 (PB) - 4 (E)
    		Battery voltage not applied
    		10 kΩ or higher
    Battery positive (+) → Terminal 3 (IG)
    Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4 (E)
    Battery negative (-) → Terminal 5 (FRWA)
    Battery positive (+) → Terminal 3 (IG)
    Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 (H)
    Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4 (E)
    		Below 1 Ω for 0.8 to 0.9 seconds, then resistance increases by large amount
    Battery positive (+) → Terminal 3 (IG)
    Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (HDLO)
    Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4 (E)
    Battery negative (-) → Terminal 5 (FRWA)
    If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight cleaner control relay.
