  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH

  3. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH

  6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL ORNAMENT

  7. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  9. REMOVE ECU INTEGRATION BOX RH

  10. REMOVE POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU

Power Management Control Ecu -- Removal


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for LHD and RHD vehicles.
  2. The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
  1. After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (LandCruiser RM000003YMD00TX.html).
  2. When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (LandCruiser RM000003YMF011X.html).


2. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  1. for 5 Door:
    Remove the door scuff plate assembly LH (LandCruiser RM0000046JL02NX_01_0002.html).

  1. for 3 Door:
    Remove the door scuff plate assembly LH (LandCruiser RM0000046JQ00WX_02_0002.html).



3. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  1. for 5 Door:
    Remove the cowl side trim board LH (LandCruiser RM0000046JL02NX_01_0004.html).

  1. for 3 Door:
    Remove the cowl side trim board LH (LandCruiser RM0000046JQ00WX_02_0004.html).



4. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the screw.



  1. Detach the 3 clips and 2 guides and remove the No. 2 instrument panel under cover.

5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH

  1. Put protective tape around the instrument side panel.

  1. Using a moulding remover, detach the 5 clips, claw, and 3 guides.

  1. Disconnect the connector and remove the instrument side panel.



6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL ORNAMENT

  1. Put protective tape around the instrument panel ornament.

  1. Using a moulding remover, detach the 5 clips and remove the instrument panel ornament.



7. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 2 bolts <C> and 2 screws <A> or <B>.

  1. Detach the 5 clips and claw.

  1. Disconnect each connector and remove the glove compartment door.



8. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the screw.

  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 air duct sub-assembly.



9. REMOVE ECU INTEGRATION BOX RH

  1. Disconnect all the connectors.

  1. Detach the clamp.

  1. Remove the 2 nuts, bolt and ECU integration box RH.



10. REMOVE POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU

  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the power management control ECU.
