Rear Floor Airbag Sensor Installation

Check that the ignition switch is off.

Check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal.

CAUTION:

Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

Install the rear floor airbag sensor with the bolt.

Torque:

9.0 N*m{92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf}

NOTICE:

1. If the rear floor airbag sensor has been dropped, or there are any cracks, dents or other defects in the case, bracket or connector, replace it with a new one.
   
2. When installing the rear floor airbag sensor, be careful that the SRS wiring does not interfere with other parts and that it is not pinched between other parts.
   

Check that the rear floor airbag sensor is not loose.

Connect the connector.

Attach the clip and claw to install the cover.

Return the floor carpet to its original position.

Attach the 3 clips, 6 claws and 2 guides to install the rear door scuff plate.

Install the quarter scuff plate with the 2 bolts.

Attach the 2 claws to install the rear No. 1 floor step cover.

for 60/40 Split Double-folding Seat Type RH Side:

1. Install the rear No. 1 seat assembly (LandCruiser RM00000468S00WX.html).
   

for 60/40 Split Tumble Seat Type LH Side:

1. Install the rear No. 1 seat assembly (LandCruiser RM0000046ZG006X.html).
   

for 60/40 Split Tumble Seat Type RH Side:

1. Install the rear No. 1 seat assembly (LandCruiser RM0000046ZL006X.html).
   

for 60/40 Split Slide Walk-in Seat Type LH Side:

1. Install the rear No. 1 seat assembly (LandCruiser RM00000468800TX.html).
   

for 60/40 Split Slide Walk-in Seat Type RH Side:

1. Install the rear No. 1 seat assembly (LandCruiser RM00000468D00QX.html).
   

Check the SRS warning light (LandCruiser RM000000XFD0N3X.html).
