Front Bumper -- Removal |
| 1. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL |
Remove the 13 clips and upper radiator support seal.
| 2. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE |
 |
Put protective tape around the radiator grille.
Remove the 4 screws.
Detach the 8 claws and remove the radiator grille.

| 3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER |
Remove the 2 screws.
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure for the screws on the other side.

Remove the 2 screws.

Remove the 2 bolts labeled A and 2 bolts labeled B.
Put protective tape around the front bumper cover.

Remove the 4 clips.
Detach the 16 claws and remove the front bumper cover.
- NOTICE:
- Do not hold the middle of the front bumper cover, as it may become reformed.
w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Fog Light:
Disconnect the 3 connectors.
w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/o Fog Light:
Disconnect the connector.
w/o TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Fog Light:
Disconnect the 2 connectors.
w/ Headlight Cleaner System:
Disconnect the No. 1 headlight cleaner hose.
| 4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER |
Remove the front bumper energy absorber.
 |
| 5. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER LOWER COVER |
Remove the clip.
 |
Remove the 5 bolts and front bumper lower cover.
| 6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY |
Remove the 6 nuts and front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.
 |
| 7. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER NO. 2 EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY LH |
Remove the 4 bolts and front bumper No. 2 extension sub-assembly LH.
 |
| 8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER NO. 2 EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY RH |

- Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
| 9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH |
Remove the screw and bolt.
 |
Detach the 2 claws and remove the front bumper side support LH.
| 10. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH |

- Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
| 11. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER CENTER UPPER RETAINER |
Remove the 3 bolts and front bumper center upper retainer.

| 12. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH |

Remove the 2 bolts and front bumper bracket sub-assembly LH.
