1. DISPOSE OF BACK WINDOW STAY ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Horizontally secure the back window stay in a vise with the piston-rod pulled out.

  1. Wear safety glasses. Gradually cut an area between A and B shown in the illustration using a metal saw and gradually release the gas.

    CAUTION:
    As metal debris may be blown outward by the gas, you must:
    1. Wear protective glasses.
    2. Cover the area being cut.
    NOTICE:
    The gas inside the back window stay is colorless, odorless and harmless. As there is a possibility that metal debris could scatter, cover the back window stay with a piece of cloth or other material.
