AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM (for Automatic Air Conditioning System) - Generator Signal Circuit


DESCRIPTION

When the engine is started, the generator assembly turns on and a voltage pulse signal is generated.
This signal is used by the air conditioning amplifier assembly.
The signal expressing the amount of output from the generator assembly is one element of PTC heater control.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER - GENERATOR)
  1. Disconnect the G25 amplifier connector.

  1. Disconnect the D3*1 or C65*2 generator connector.

    1. *1: for 1GR-FE
    2. *2: for 1KD-FTV
  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    for 1GR-FE
