INSPECTION PROCEDURE
- NOTICE:
- When using the intelligent tester with the ignition switch off to troubleshoot:
Connect the intelligent tester to the vehicle and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5 second intervals until communication between the intelligent tester and vehicle begins.
- Inspect the fuses and bulbs for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.
- HINT:
- When communication between the steering lock ECU and certification ECU stops, DTC B2785 is also stored.
Clear the DTCs (LandCruiser RM000002S8D045X.html).
Check for DTCs (LandCruiser RM000002S8D045X.html).
- OK:
- DTC B2786 is not output.
3.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CERTIFICATION ECU - STEERING LOCK ECU) |
Disconnect the G38 certification ECU connector.
Disconnect the G35 steering lock actuator assembly (steering lock ECU) connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Resistance:

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Temporarily replace the steering lock actuator assembly (steering lock ECU) with a new one.
