Rear Upper Arm Removal


  1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

  2. DISCONNECT REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Air Suspension)

  3. REMOVE REAR UPPER CONTROL ARM ASSEMBLY LH

Rear Upper Arm -- Removal


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
  2. The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL


2. DISCONNECT REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Air Suspension)
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
NOTICE:
  1. After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (LandCruiser RM000003YMD00TX.html).
  2. When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (LandCruiser RM000003YMF011X.html).


3. REMOVE REAR UPPER CONTROL ARM ASSEMBLY LH


    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155
  1. Remove the nut, washer and bolt from the rear axle housing.

    HINT:
    Turn the nut while holding the bolt.

  1. Remove the nut, washer, bolt and upper control arm assembly.

    HINT:
    Turn the nut while holding the bolt.
