Rear Upper Arm -- Removal |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
- The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL |
2. DISCONNECT REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Air Suspension) |
- CAUTION:
- Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
- NOTICE:
- After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (LandCruiser RM000003YMD00TX.html).
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (LandCruiser RM000003YMF011X.html).
3. REMOVE REAR UPPER CONTROL ARM ASSEMBLY LH |
Remove the nut, washer and bolt from the rear axle housing.

- Turn the nut while holding the bolt.
