Height Control Compressor -- Installation |
| 1. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR BRACKET |
Install the height control compressor bracket with the 3 bolts.
- Torque:
- 29 N*m{296 kgf*cm, 21 ft.*lbf}
| 2. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY |
Install the 3 bushes to the height control compressor.
Install a new O-ring.
Install the height control dryer with the bolt
- Torque:
- 6.4 N*m{65 kgf*cm, 57 in.*lbf}
Install the height control compressor to the bracket with the 3 bolts.
- Torque:
- 5.9 N*m{60 kgf*cm, 52 in.*lbf}
Connect the connector.
Attach the clamp.
Attach the 3 clamps.
Connect the connector.
Attach the No. 2 height control tube.
| 3. CONNECT NO. 2 HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE |
Connect the No. 2 height control tube (LandCruiser RM000001U54015X.html).

- For the connection procedure of the tube (type 2), refer to Precaution of the Suspension Control System section.

| 4. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL FILTER |
Install the height control filter with the 2 bolts.
- Torque:
- 6.4 N*m{65 kgf*cm, 57 in.*lbf}
Connect the 2 hoses with 2 new clips.
| 5. CHECK CONNECTIONS OF TUBES FOR AIR LEAK |
Check the connections of the tubes for air leakage (LandCruiser RM000001U54015X.html).
| 6. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for 5 Door) |
Install the rear bumper protector with the screw.
| 7. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR COVER |
Install the height control compressor cover with 3 new clips.
| 8. INSTALL REAR QUARTER PANEL MUDGUARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH |
Install the rear quarter panel mudguard with the 5 screws and 2 clips.
| 9. INSTALL REAR WHEEL LH |
- Torque:
- for Aluminum Wheel:
- 103 N*m{1050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf}
- for Steel Wheel:
- 112 N*m{1137 kgf*cm, 82 ft.*lbf}
| 10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
- NOTICE:
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (LandCruiser RM000003YMF011X.html).
