Absorber Control Actuator Removal


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL

  3. REMOVE ABSORBER CONTROL ACTUATOR LH

  4. REMOVE SUSPENSION CONTROL BRACKET LH

Absorber Control Actuator -- Removal


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
  2. The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
NOTICE:
  1. After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (LandCruiser RM000003YMD00TX.html).
  2. When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (LandCruiser RM000003YMF011X.html).


2. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL


3. REMOVE ABSORBER CONTROL ACTUATOR LH


    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155
  1. Detach the 3 clamps, and then disconnect the connector.

  1. Using a hexagon wrench (4 mm), remove the 2 hexagon socket head cap bolts and absorber control actuator.

    NOTICE:
    Replace the absorber control actuator with a new one if it is dropped.


4. REMOVE SUSPENSION CONTROL BRACKET LH

  1. Using SST, remove the nut and bracket.
