Generator (For 100 A Type) Installation

Install the generator bracket to the generator assembly with the bolt.

Torque:

8.0 N*m{82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf}

Install the generator assembly with the 2 bolts.

Torque:

43 N*m{438 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf}

Attach the clamp and connect the wire harness to the generator bracket.

Connect the wire harness to the generator assembly with the bolt.

Torque:

8.0 N*m{82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf}

Connect the wire harness to terminal B with the nut.

Torque:

9.8 N*m{100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf}

Install the terminal cap.

Connect the connector to the generator assembly.

Rotate the pulley of the V-ribbed belt tensioner assembly clockwise, and then install the fan and generator V belt.

NOTICE:

Make sure that the fan and generator V belt is set properly on each pulley.

HINT:

When installing the fan and generator V belt, attach the fan and generator V belt to the No. 1 idler pulley sub-assembly last.

Install the No. 2 intercooler air hose and tighten the 2 hose clamps.

Torque:

5.0 N*m{51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf}

Connect the oil return hose and slide the 2 clips to secure the hose.

While pushing the No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly towards the rear, attach the 2 rear pins.

Attach the 2 front clips to install the No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly.

Install the battery hold down clamp with the 2 nuts and 2 battery clamp bolts.

Torque:

5.4 N*m{55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf}
