Clutch Accumulator Removal


  1. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID FROM CLUTCH LINE

  2. REMOVE FRONT PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY (for 1GR-FE)

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 CLUTCH HOUSING COVER (for 1GR-FE)

  4. REMOVE CLUTCH ACCUMULATOR ASSEMBLY

Clutch Accumulator -- Removal



1. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID FROM CLUTCH LINE


2. REMOVE FRONT PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY (for 1GR-FE)

  1. Remove the front propeller shaft (LandCruiser RM00000291R00UX.html).



3. REMOVE NO. 1 CLUTCH HOUSING COVER (for 1GR-FE)

  1. Remove the 4 bolts and housing cover.



4. REMOVE CLUTCH ACCUMULATOR ASSEMBLY


  1. for 1GR-FE:

    1. Remove the clutch release cylinder to accumulator tube (LandCruiser RM0000032RC00WX_01_0001.html).



      2. Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155

    2. Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the clutch release cylinder to flexible tube.

      HINT:
      Use a container to catch the fluid.

    3. Remove the nut.



      4. Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155

    4. Remove the 3 bolts and clutch accumulator.



  1. except 1GR-FE and 1GD-FTV:



      Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155

    1. Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the clutch master cylinder to flexible hose tube.

      HINT:
      Use a container to catch the fluid.

    2. Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the accumulator to flexible hose tube.

      HINT:
      Use a container to catch the fluid.

    3. Remove the 3 nuts and clutch accumulator.



  1. for 1GD-FTV:

    1. Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the clutch master cylinder to accumulator.



      2. Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155

    2. Using a union nut wrench, remove the accumulator to flexible hose tube.

      HINT:
      Use a container to catch the fluid.

    3. Remove the clip and disconnect the flexible hose tube.

      HINT:
      Use a container to catch the fluid.

    4. Remove the 3 nuts and clutch accumulator.
