Vacuum Switching Valve (For Engine Mounting) Removal


  1. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 FENDER APRON TO FRAME SEAL LH

  2. DISCONNECT STARTER ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY

Vacuum Switching Valve (For Engine Mounting) -- Removal



1. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 FENDER APRON TO FRAME SEAL LH


Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155

  1. Remove the 6 clips and front No. 1 fender apron to frame seal LH.



2. DISCONNECT STARTER ASSEMBLY

  1. w/ Urea SCR System:

    1. Remove the starter assembly.



  1. w/o Urea SCR System:



      Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155

    1. Open the terminal cap.

    2. Remove the nut and disconnect the starter wire.

    3. Disconnect the starter connector.



      4. Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155

    4. for Automatic Transmission:
      Remove the bolt, 2 nuts and starter assembly.



      5. Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155

    5. for Manual Transmission:
      w/o Urea SCR System:
      Remove the 4 bolts, 3 nuts, clip, and then disconnect the clutch release cylinder assembly.



      6. Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155

    6. for Manual Transmission:
      Remove the bolt, nut and starter assembly.



3. REMOVE VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the connector and 2 clamps from the vacuum switching valve sub-assembly.

  1. Disconnect the 3 vacuum hoses.

  1. Remove the bolt, nut and vacuum switching valve sub-assembly.

  1. Remove the 2 vacuum hoses from the vacuum switching valve sub-assembly.
